Abstract

【課題】 メタルソーは、切削された切屑が被切削材との間に詰まりやすく、薄肉の多段形状を形成しようとすると切屑が当たるなどして薄肉部が変形しやすい。 【解決手段】 回転軸に取付けられるための取付け穴3が中心に設けられた円盤状のボディ1と、ボディ1の径方向の外側に設けられた複数の刃部2とを有するメタルソーであって、それぞれの刃部2は、底面側に設けられて接触する被切削材51を切削する底刃4、外周面側に設けられて接触する被切削材を切削する外周刃5、底刃4および外周刃5を辺として持つすくい面19と、回転方向に対して底刃4の逃げ面8,9の後方に設けられた刃部2の厚みがボディ1の厚みよりも小さい刃底へこみ部14を有する。 【選択図】 図1
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a metal saw is liable to get clogging of cut chips between itself and a cutting object workpiece and a thin-walled part is deformable upon strike of a cut chip when a thin-walled multistage shape is formed in the metal saw.SOLUTION: A metal saw, which includes a disk-like body 1 provided at the center with a mount hole 3 used to mount the body 1 on a rotary shaft and a plurality of cutting parts 2 provided outside in the radial direction of the body 1, is characterized in that each cutting part 2 includes: a bottom blade 4 provided on a bottom surface side to cut a cutting object workpiece 51 coming in contact with the cutting part 2; a peripheral cutting blade 5 provided on the outer peripheral surface side to cut the cutting object workpiece 51 coming in contact with the cutting blade 5; a rake surface 19 with the bottom blade 4 and the peripheral cutting blade 5 as its sides; and a blade bottom dent part 14 where a thickness of the cutting part 2 provided behind flank surfaces 8, 9 of the bottom blade 4 in a direction of rotation.
