Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain serviceable active substance as positive pole material of a non-water electrolyte secondary battery such as a lithium secondary battery, highly reproductively and industrially advantageously. SOLUTION: A powder solid for manufacturing active substance for the non- water electrolyte secondary battery is obtained by pulverizing lithium compound and transition metal compound in a liquid medium, and next by spraying and drying the obtained solid liquid mixture. In a powder solid, an average particle diameter of solid contained in the solid liquid mixture is not longer than 2 μm. In any of powder solids mentioned above, a spraying and drying machine for the spraying and drying is mounted with a rotating disc shape atomizer or a nozzle atomizer. The active substance for the non water electrolyte secondary battery is obtained by calcining any of powder solids mentioned above in the presence of oxygen. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
【課題】リチウム二次電池等の非水電解液二次電池の正極材料として有用な活物質を、再現性良く、工業的有利に得ること。 【解決手段】リチウム化合物と遷移金属化合物とを液体媒体中で粉砕し、次いで、得られた固液混合物を噴霧乾燥することにより得られることを特徴とする非水電解液二次電池用活物質製造用粉末固体。固液混合物中に含まれる固体の平均粒径が2μm以下である前記の粉末固体。噴霧乾燥に用いる噴霧乾燥機が回転円盤型のアトマイザー、又はノズルアトマイザーを備えた乾燥機である前記いずれかに記載の粉末固体。前記いずれかに記載の粉末固体を酸素の存在下に焼成することにより得られる非水電解液二次電池用活物質。 【選択図】 なし
